Guarantee

All instruments carry a minimum 12-month guarantee. Some instruments, as specified, are covered for an extended period.

Faults in materials or workmanship will be repaired or replaced for the original owner during the specified guarantee period.

The guarantee doesn't cover accidental damage (including damage caused by heat, humidity or neglect), fair wear and tear (including that to frets, finish or strings) or shipping.

Commissions

All commissions are made to an agreed price and, at the time of order, we will give you an estimated completion date.

A 10% deposit is required to confirm your order before we start making your instrument, and the balance is payable upon completion. The instrument remains the property of Small Strings until the balance has been paid in full.

Caring for your instrument

Wood is a natural product, and extremes of temperature or humidity may cause damage. At the risk of stating the obvious, don't put your instrument near a radiator or any other type of heater. And never leave it in a car parked in the sun.
