How to buy 

In stock

We have some instruments in stock and available for immediate purchase.

If you would like to try an instrument before purchase, it may be possible to visit our workshop in north Northumberland (visits are strictly by appointment only; please contact us for details). 

Commissions

Each instrument we make is unique. If you see something you like on the website and wish to order a similar instrument, or if you're looking for something a little bit different and would like an instrument made to your specific requirements, just e-mail info@smallstrings.co.uk, use the Contact form on this website or tel. 07483 117472.

A 10% non-refundable deposit is required for all commissions.

Festivals and events 2018

If you'd like to try an instrument before you buy, the easiest way is often to find us at a festival.

Stockists

The Music Gallery, 83C Marygate, Berwick-upon-Tweed. As at mid-January 2018 – a mandolin (maple), a left-hander mandolin (American walnut) and an octave mandolin (walnut).

Payment

We are happy to accept payment by cheque (although we will not start work on commissions or despatch your instrument until the cheque has cleared). We can also accept payment by bank transfer and, at festivals, by most major credit/debit cards.
