Guitars

A few pictures of guitars i have built: the first a jazz/folk hybrid that I built to satisfy my own musical needs. Built in figured maple with a spruce top, the guitar features an unusual bracing pattern, and is surprisingly loud for such a small guitar. The second is a 'Selmer' style guitar - this one in Indian Rosewood with a spruce top. These guitars have a highly arched, cross-braced  top, which help it achieve the tight, pure sound beloved of gypsy jazz players that is not so heavy on overtones as a standard acoustic.
